Diversification of sexual sizedimorphism in Cyclops vicinus

The aim of this study was to qualify the sexual size dimorphism at both inter and intra-population levels a copepod species, Cyclops vicinus, populations living in small-scale geographical range. Sexual is evaluated by ratio female male total length. But, deep insight into we assumed that more difference between same measurements on body from different sexes lead rate. samples were taken four water sources locating east south-east part Turkey. significant intra population differences detected. thorax width related (mostly) abdomen length had most effective ones with changing order dimorphism. Pearson correlation coefficients (r) showed there strong positive relationships rate predator presence (r = 0.88) volume lake (r=0.72), while moderate negative relationship depth (r= -0.50) area -0.45).
